WHAT IS GMF?

Family medicine group open to the public. A GMF is a title attributed to medical clinics that meet certain standards established by the Government of Quebec. The physicians in a GMF, work closely with several health professionals (nurse, psychologist, pharmacist, social worker, physiotherapist, etc.) in order to facilitate access to patients. With this system, patients receive better follow-up and the quality of care is greatly improved.

1- A reference from a general practitioner or another specialist.
2- Imaging reports (MRI or X-ray) if relevant.
3- The results of any test taken (blood test, cardio-gram etc.) if relevant.
